In Mountainous region of Georgian which is unfortunately forgotten by all!
Can you imagine in remote mountainous region of Georgia, that women initiated crowdfunding campaign? To collect and sell wastepaper? To gather local youth volunteers to support current matter. This all for to collect enough money to build playground for children in village Fachkha, Khulo municipality, upper Ajara.

Maybe it is very hard to imagine, but yes, it is happening now!
With spirit that everything is possible, we are delightful to present you brand new initiative!
Shortly about initiative – To build playground (2 swings, 4 benches, 1 slide, around flourishing flowers) with local volunteer support in upper Ajara, Khulo municipality, village Fachkha [Photos are attached].
To support this initiative local women will be involved as well. Women will collect wastepaper in Khulo municipality and with money will be supported playground.
Children living in upper Ajara villages have lack of opportunities to have places where they can gather and have joint fun. With your support, we aiming to construct playground in this remote village, which can benefit to as well:
We will support volunteer work and make it more popular, while for playground construction we will use local youth support all for free. As well, these youth will take care after constructing it.
With collect of wastepaper, we will encourage this type of culture among people. If it will be possible in Khulo municipality, everyone can do it!
Women involvement is very significant to community development and it give more courage to women in other regions
How we can relate wastepaper to this project? Waste separation practice in Georgia is not conducting, therefore there is awareness level is low conditions. If we give collections of wastepaper social campaign meaning it will be more efficient with more significant result. You are aware that paper and cardboard are made of wood (17 Tree=1 tone of paper). Therefore, if we collect more wastepaper less will be deforestation process in the world.
Wastepaper will be collected at school, in the families, at municipal organizations, at private companies such are banks and shops and etc.
We will put two boxes, one for cardboard and one for wastepaper. We will design and make by our own.
To collect wastepaper is insurance buffer for our project. If we would not be able to collect money, we will use it to cover our expenses. But if collect enough amount, money from wastepaper will help us to construction additional tool for playground.
Finances: 2 swing, 2 bench, 1 slide – We need 3500 GEL, including transportation and montage costs.
We are hopeful to collect 1750 GEL with this platform and money from wastepaper. Other 1750, will be Orbenilianimeti donation. All expenses will be made with high level of transparency.
