The idea ”Revive the History of Tbilisi” aims to create a cognitive-historical comic book, which is fully dedicated to the history of Tbilisi in the 19th century, it’s cultural life, which has always been a great interest of local or foreign travelers and researchers. It has been repeatedly mentioned that the multicultural environment of the outstanding city of Transcaucasia was the meeting point of the Western and Eastern worlds. Most visibly that fact was revealed in fine arts and architecture, which gets a lot of interest nowadays, too. “I have seen almost everything in Tiflis, Georgian paradise, and nowhere else in my whole life did I work as productive, as in Tiflis.” – writes Alexandre Dumas about visit to Tbilisi in mid 19 th century.
