What we want to do:
We want to engage with other youth and use their creativity to repaint some of the damaged and abandoned buildings in Lagodekhi. Murals will make our city even more beautiful and are attractive for both locals and tourists. We have united around a common cause and want to add our stamp on the city, brighten up neighbourhoods, and present our creativity to Lagodekhi. Dilapidated and abandoned buildings are damaging the city’s look. We have catalogued the buildings which tourists tend to pass most frequently and designated them for street art projects.
The murals will have different themes, including cultural, ecological, patriotic, and historic themes. The murals will also make references to the original functions of the buildings, so that youth can learn about the urban history of their city too.
Even one Lari can bring more colour to Lagodekhi. Let’s brighten up Lagodekhi together!
