On August 3, 2023, a landslide occurred on the territory of the Sunset Shovi hotel in Shovi, Oni municipality.
As a result of the natural disaster, the cottages and other buildings near the hotel were completely covered by the mass of torn ground.
Unfortunately, the disaster killed 18 people, and 16 people are still missing.
In a difficult situation, it is important to understand the power of citizens' support and unity around a tragedy.
We have created a charity account where anyone can make a donation to people affected by the disaster in Shovi. Also to those who are heroically involved in search operations even at this moment and are selflessly fighting to save the lives of people lost as a result of the disaster.
