Reduce Hunger in Georgia with Food Banks
Campaign Story
We can help people living in hunger and suffering from food insecurity in Georgia!
Who we are:
Our NGO, Enkenia, works to help the elderly and those in-need by increasing their access to food. We started campaigning last year by offering free hot meals in the street and home deliveries of food to those in-need.
What we will do:
We want to reduce hunger in Georgia and want to create food banks in the long term. We want to start food collection in public spaces and are campaigning to buy food boxes which will be installed in shops, supermarkets, offices, and similar places.
Enkenia’s team will distribute the branded boxes in various public spaces. The boxes will have nice visuals so that offices will agree to install them and will be comfortable having them. Employees and customers at supermarkets will be able to donate food and drop them in the boxes. Only non-perishable food items will be collected. Enkenia’s volunteers will collect the food from the boxes and distributed it to the elderly and people who struggle with hunger and poverty.
