About us

Orbeliani Georgia – our goal is to support social initiatives so that every citizen has the opportunity to change the life of their community/society for the better.

Over the last few years, the Orbeliani  online platform (app.orbeliani.net) has successfully financed many necessary, practical, and innovative ideas through contributions from international and donor organizations.Every initiative is born from the creativity of ordinary people who come together in pursuit of the greater good.

Since 2015, Orbeliani has provided more than 1,000,000 GEL in funding for initiatives with the support of the following donors: UNDP, SIDA, Embassy of the Czech Republic, Embassy of the Netherlands, and EWMI Access program.

The popularity of Orbeliani Georgia is growing, and the number of motivated individuals eager to make positive changes in their environment is increasing. However, the financial resources provided by international donors are not always sufficient. Therefore, we decided to give people the opportunity to finance their interesting and desirable ideas, leading to the creation of the crowdfunding platform, Orbeliani Meti

In 2015, the first crowdfunding platform in Georgia, Orbelianimeti.ge, was established. Orbelianimeti.ge operates on the principle of co-funding and assists young people, civil activists, and social entrepreneurs in turning their ideas into reality, obtaining sufficient funding for the implementation of their projects and social initiatives. Through the platform,authors of the idea can collect 30% of the desired amount for the project, while 70% will be covered by funds raised by Orbeliani Meti from international organizations or the private sector.
