Campaign content

The oldest, 100-year-old house standing in the only Udi village of Georgia needs urgent rehabilitation. Udis are descendants of Caucasian Albanians and are one of the smallest ethnic groups in Georgia. The Udis settled in Georgia at the age of 102 and soon started building a village. The mentioned house is exactly the age of the village. It is an important part of the Udic community and the cultural heritage of our country.    After the rehabilitation, it is planned to create an ethnographic space in the house, which will be open to visitors and also to locals - various interesting meetings will be held here with the participation of representatives of the Udic community, the population of the village, municipality and region. Within the mentioned campaign, we are going to mobilize the necessary funds for the first stage of the rehabilitation works of the house.     A century ago, when the Udis settled in Georgia, various representatives of Georgian society united to help the Udis. Now it's our turn: together to save and give new life to the cultural heritage of Zinobiani and our country.
