Matchfunded By USAID Civil Society Engagement Program

Campaign content

There are 38 Armenian students studying in Uchmani village public school of Ninotsminda municipality. School is the only educational space for them. There is no library, no youth center, no sports or art circle in the village. For full development and education of students, informal education is important along with formal education, therefore I, a teacher of Georgian language, offered them a Georgian language circle and club work (literary club, film club). Which aroused great interest among the students, especially since they were given the opportunity to improve their knowledge of the state language. Along with non-formal education, the issue of integration is a challenge for children living in rural areas, in which knowledge of the state language plays a major role. Our informal space is not equipped with equipment. I want our students, who strive for development and success, with your help to create the same educational opportunities as their urban peers. In order for circuit and club work to be carried out effectively, we need modern equipment. This resource will be a means of promoting our non-formal education, which will give purposeful, hardworking students a way, an opportunity to be active, successful and full citizens of our country.
