The Ontopo Library boasts a rich and fascinating history. It was founded on March 5, 1912. Over the years, its development was led by devoted locals from the Ontopo Library supporters' community, among them Besarion, Bartlome, Badri Nadareishvili, Vladimir Chikhladze, Gvrito Chanturaia, and others. A century later, we have chosen to honor their legacy and further the tradition by actively participating in the library's development.We believe that the library can play a significant role in providing access to information and fostering new opportunities. The library's revitalization will breathe new life into the village. Enhanced infrastructure, replenished book funds, and a dedicated reading space will transform the library into a vibrant community gathering space, effectively connecting with and engaging new generations.Our goal is to establish a multifunctional space that meets diverse interests of different generations. The library will feature book collections, a comfortable reading area, educational programs, meeting spaces, and a dedicated section for kids. This will empower the library to engage locals of all ages in exciting activities, making it appealing to everyone across generations.
