ეთნიკური მრავალფეროვნებით დასახლებულ ყვარლის მუნიციპალიტეტის სოფელ ახალსოფელში, 2016 წელს, იმავე სოფლელმა ახალგაზრდა ბიზნესმენმა და მეცენატმა ბატონმა დავით ხახუტაშვილმა, ათწლეულის განმავლობაში დაგროვილი ახალგაზრდების ოცნებები რეალობად აქცია. მან ჩამოაყალიბა გუნდი, რომელიც  ახალგაზრდების იდეების გენერირებასა და განვითარებაზე მუშაობდა. შედეგად შეიქმნა ახალსოფლის ახალგაზრდელი ცენტრი-“ სადაც არა მხოლოდ ახალსოფლის, არამედ არამედ მუნიციპალიტეტის სხვა სოფლიბის ახალგაზრდებსაც აქვთ შესაძლებლობა ერთობლივად იმუშაონ და განვითარდნენ.

ჩვენი პროექტი

„ახალსოფლის ახალგაზრდული ცენტრის“ სამკერვალო სახელოსნო სოფელ ახალსოფელში მდებარეობს. შესაბამისად, აქ მცხოვრებ ახალგაზრდებს აქვთ შესაძლებლობა საკუთარი ინტერესებისა და სურვილების გათვალისწინებით, შეიკრინონ ცენტრის სივრცეში,გაცვალონ აზრები ერთობრივად იმუშაონ და ხელი შეუწყონ საკუთარ თვითგანვითარებას.

სოფლის მასშტაბით ქალების მხარდაჭერა გაზრდის სოფლად მცხოვრები ქალების  მოტივაციას, ხელს შეუწყობს ჩამოყალიბებას ცვილებებზე ორიენტირებულ პიროვნებებად და გააძლიერებს, მათ ეკონომიკურ და სოციალურ ჩართულობას.

  ჩვენი სურვილია შევქმნათ სრულად ფუნქციონალური სოციალური ინიციატივა-„სამეზობლოს ატელიე“. საზოგადოების, ჩართულობით დავეხმარებით სამ სოფელს - თივს, სარუსოსა და ახალსოფელს. ეს პროექტი განსაკუთრებით მნიშვნელოვანი იქნება თივსა და სარუსოში მცხოვრები სოციალურად დაუცველი თემებისთვის.

ცენტრი  მუდამ  ცდილობს არავინ დარჩეს ყურადღების მიღმა. აქ, ოსი, ავარიელი და ქართველი ახალგაზრდები ერთად არიან ჩართულნი სხვადასხვა პროექტებში, ბანაკებსა თუ კლუბებში.

  ჩვენი მიზანია ამ პროექტის ფარფლებში შევქმნათ, ურთიერთობის, დიალოგისა და თანამშრომლობის უსაფრთხო და ინკლუზიური სახელოსნო. გვჯერა რომ განათლება უნდა იყოს ყველასთვის ხელმისაწვდომი, თანაბარი, მჭიდროდ დაკავშირებული ადგილობრივ საზოგადოებასთან.

ცენტრის საქმიანობაში ყველაზე საამაყო ასობით ახალგაზრდისთვის მომავლისკენ გაღებული კარებია.

ვაპირებთ გავაგრძელოთ ეს გზა – ზრუნვით სოფელზე, თემზე, გარემოსა და ადამიანებზე.

Our organization is the Akhalsopeli youth organization, in the town of Akhalsopeli, in the region of Kakheti. The people in this region sustain themselves by working on their farms and the wineries, because there are few white-collar jobs. The region has a diverse population with many ethnic minority communities. There are three towns which will be assisted with this grant: Tivi, Saruso and Akhalsopeli, with a population totaling 7000+ people.  This project will provide necessary but unavailable assistance in particular for those who are members of the various ethnic groups in the area. Teenage girls in Kakheti and especially those from minority communities often don’t finish school because they are married at a very young age. Tivi and Saruso are small, averaging around 300 people and the services to these towns are limited and underfunded.

For example, students from Tivi must come to Akhalsopeli for the 11th and 12th grade since there school is too small to hold these classes. Those from minority communities are not integrated within the larger Georgian culture, and many Georgians have never meet anyone from these groups. Many of their artisanal crafts have no exposure to the wider community. We hope that this project in additional to teaching about creating with the literal fabric will also build up the “social fabric” of the community.

Objectives

We aim to establish a fully functional social enterprise facility where young women can meet to work on thier textile projects. To make this more operational we will first conduct trainings so that these women have an incentive to frequent the enterprise facility. We will conduct 3 different 1 month-long training courses. After these training courses, around 30 women in the community will be informed on how to complete textile projects (for example mending clothes, creating bags, and making the traditional Avarian socks/slippers etc.) and have the opportunity to complete their own project. Additionally, we will include smaller projects which are feasible for those who cannot attend intensive courses or who are school-age children.

We will focus on both skills that are immediately applicable and practical while also teaching skills that are necessary for the women to gain employment whether that be under and employer or through a self-employed status.
